On Saturday, June 8th, in the heart of Dumbo Brooklyn, The Reset Talk Show hosted their 3rd Annual Awards Ceremony.
Founder and host of the show, Jr Giddings, created a night highlighting and honoring the men and women who have made a tremendous impact in their communities and have received extraordinary achievements in their respective fields. Every Friday from 10 am to 12 noon, Jr Giddings hosts a live show on C.M.G.T. with a panel of experts to discuss current issues nationwide. This night was dedicated to recognizing the work of doctors, politicians, educators, attorneys, journalists, and entrepreneurs who truly push the needle in closing the disparity gaps within minority communities.

The topic of health and health concerns in our community continues to be challenging but many of the honorees work endlessly to find solutions, bring awareness, and provide resources to those who have limited access to necessary information to survive.
Congresswoman Yvette D. Clark, representing New York’s 9th Congressional District, stated “It’s important that we have a platform where fact and information, that is relevant to the lives of the people in our communities is available”.
Breast Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and other infectious illnesses continue to be at the top of the list for the leading causes of death but one key component to fighting back is early detection. As we continue to get tested our chances increase for prevention and treatments.
Thank you to all of the honorees and their teams who have made spectacular contributions to saving lives each and every day. We look forward to learning more about how to live a healthier and happier life.
